這學期你的必修、選修課程有幾堂呢？

先來了解這些英文單字怎麼說～～

course arrangement 課程安排；排課

　　ex.　University's course arrangement has let me know how to efficiently manage my time by myself.

　　　　（大學的課程安排讓我明白了如何有效運用自己的時間。）

choose／select course　選課

　　ex.　When is the deadline for choosing courses?  

　　　　（選課截止到哪一天？）

compulsory／required subject　必修科目

compulsory (a.) 義務的；必須的

　　ex.　Is English a compulsory subject ?   

　　　　（英語是必修科目嗎？）

　　ex.　Education is compulsory for children in most countries .   

　　　　（多數國家對兒童實施義務教育。）

　　（易混淆字→ compulsive (a.) 強迫的；強制的）

required (a.) 必須的；（學科）必修的

elective subject　選修科目

elective (a.) 選舉的；選修的

　　ex.　Most of the students of our class take Japanese as an elective course.

　　　　（我們班大部分同學選修日語。）

　　ex.　Electives are offered in Tai Chi and advanced dance exercise.

　　　　（選修課包括太極拳和進階舞蹈運動。）

sit in on a class　旁聽

（也有人說 audit (v.) 以旁聽生資格出席；旁聽）

major　主修

　　ex.　Alice majors in economics .   

　　　　（愛麗絲主修經濟學。）

double major　雙主修

　　ex.　As an undergraduate, I had a double major of Chinese and Mass Communication.　（我在讀大學時，曾雙主修中文和大眾傳播學。）.

minor　副修

　　ex.　She majored in English and minored in education.   

　　　　（她主修英文，副修教育。）

skip class　翹課

　　ex.　How do they just skip class every day and go to the beach?

　　　　（他們怎麼能就這樣每天翹課去海邊呢？）

cheat　作弊 [（+at/on/in）]

　　ex.　He never cheated in exams.

　　　　（他考試從不作弊。）

take attendance/ roll call　點名

　　ex.　I will take attendance regularly, and give weight to your attendance record in grade.

　　　　（我將定期點名，並將你們的出席率列入學期成績。）
